One-loop vacuum polarization in the nonlineargauge

Abstract
In the nonlinear gauge the one-loop contributions to the dynamical-gauge-field vacuum polarization are found to be separately transverse even in a spontaneously broken theory. Moreover, the theorems of DeWitt and Kallosh are verified in this case.
