Semileptonic Decays of Charmed Mesons in the Effective Chiral Lagrangian Method

Abstract
The effective chiral Lagrangian which is the extension of Bars, Halpern and Yoshimura model to [SU(4)×SU(4)]×[SU(2)×U(1)] is constructed, and some physical constants are predicted; FD and FF are 1.12Fπ and 1.34Fπ respectively, and mDA = 2.28 GeV, mFA = 2.45 GeV. The form factors of D → K(K*, KA)eν and F → ηs(φ, φA)eν decays are calculated in tree diagrams and final electron energy spectra are satisfactorily fitted to the e+e- → e+X data at DESY.Keywords
