Abstract
Krech postulates that a dynamic system is to be conceived of as a field of electrical-chemical activity which may develop spontaneously toward states of greater heterogeneity, and in its final reorganization may maintain a steady state and continue to do work. Such systems are restricted to localized brain areas. Keywords
