CONTENTS PREVIOUS INVESTIGATIONS In a previous communication1 the respiratory metabolism of typhoid patients as determined by means of the small Benedict respiration apparatus was discussed in detail. The literature of the subject was also reviewed, making repetition here unnecessary.
