Abstract
The identification of two wild salmonid smolts, suspected to be hybrids between Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and trout (S trutta) on morphological grounds, was confirmed by electrophoretic separation of serum proteins. A third, trout‐like, hybrid was identified in a sample of parr. Hybrids showed presence of both parent types of esterase, prealbumin and transferrin. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
