Abstract
Concentrations of tea tree oil (TTO) which inhibit or decrease growth of Escherichia coli also inhibit glucose-dependent respiration and stimulate the leakage of intracellular K+. Stationary phase cells are more tolerant to these TTO effects than exponential phase cells.Keywords
