The Pseudocholinesterase Variants: Esterase Levels and Increased Resistance to Fluoride

Abstract
A family is reported in which a probable homozygote for fluoride resistant gene has been found. Serum pseudocholinesterase levels, measured in terms of the hydrolysis of benzoyl choline, are presented for various phenotypes. These have been used to calculate the possible contribution of each genotype.Keywords
