Abstract
Both nationally and internationally the quality of education is a major concern and governments continue to address this need through reforms and policies aimed at im proving the quality of teaching and teacher education. Classroom studies of effective teaching have focused on the behavioural aspects of teaching and highlighted classroom management as one of the most important features of good teaching.Keywords
