Abstract
Of 33 guinea pigs, 4 (12%) had subdermal abscesses. Bacteriologic culture produced an aerogenic Pasteurella-like organism. There is some indication that the gram-negative rod may be an unclassified pathogen with a predilection for guinea pigs. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
