Abstract
A physical interpretation has been given to the clustering Poisson process which results in a 1/f spectrum; this model is compared with a model in which the 1/f spectrum is derived from a superposition of the Lorentzian spectra. For a point process, an expression has also been derived for the higher-frequency limit to 1/f fluctuations burried in shot noise. Keywords
