Abstract
We report theoretical calculations and measurements on cryogenic millimeter-wave Schottky-diode mixers. Measurements of the embedding impedances at the signal and image frequencies have been used for the theoretical predictions of the mixer performance, and an excellent agreement with measured performance was obtained. Measurements of embedding impedances for various waveguide stmctures are reported, and the choice of configuration for optimum single-sideband performance is discussed. Keywords
