Abstract
This paper describes a full Daylight Astro Tracker as part of a Navigational Complex for use in Supersonic Aircraft. The Astro Tracker will provide the required accuracy to bound the errors of the platform and keep the aircraft within a ±20 nautical mile corridor 95% of the time. In addition to the Heading stabilization, the accurate measurements of Altitude will be used to establish position and provide continuous indications of aircraft deviations off the desired course. The Astro Inertial tie-in will permit the use of less costly and complex Inertial Systems due to the continuous realignment of the platform by Astro Tracker measurements. Keywords
