Abstract
Die klinische Aussagekraft der NMR-Tomographie wird anhand von 46 Untersuchungen des kleinen Beckens geprüft. Durch lotgerechte Abbildung in allen 3 Raumebenen erlaubt sie eine exakte Volumenbestimmung der untersuchten Organe. Der gute Weichteilkontrast ermöglicht bei geeigneter Wahl der Bildgebungsparameter eine sichere Beurteilung der Infiltrationstiefe bei Blasen- und Prostatakarzinomen. Eine Verbesserung des Lymphknotenstagings im kleinen Becken kann derzeit noch nicht erreicht werden. The clinical value of NMR-Tomography was tested in fourty-six NMR-Examinations of the pelvis. The volume of the pathology could be judged excatly by three-dimensional images. Excellent soft-tissue differentiation improves in combination with suitable imaging modalities the evaluation of infiltration in cancer of bladder and prostate. Up to now there is no significant improvement for staging of pelvic lymphadenopathy.
