Abstract
Dogs were injd. intraven. with amts. of radioactive colloidal gold similar to those employed therapeutically in the treatment of leukemia and cancer. Although 90% of the radioactivity localizes in the liver under these conditions, liver function tests showed little change. The only significant changes in hematology were a transient leukopenia, a slight drop in hematocrit, and some changes in pattern of the differential. Probably these dosage levels present little immediate danger to patients receiving them insofar as liver functions and hematological changes are concerned. Keywords
