Abstract
Autopsies of 2 pigs exposed to large numbers of Schistosoma mansoni cercariae in Puerto Rico revealed a small number of adult male and female worms in the mesenteries, and viable and dead eggs in the liver, intestinal wall, and mesenteries. No eggs were observed in the stools of either animal. Examination of pigs from an endemic area produced no naturally infected animals. Keywords
