Abstract
Global charge transfer plus ionisation cross sections in ion-atom collisions are calculated in a quantum statistical time-dependent mean-field theory. Results from a semiclassical model based on the Vlasov equation for the C6+ and O8+ on Ne scattering systems at 1 MeV amu-1 are compared with experiment.Keywords
