Abstract
A series of 3‐(arylthiosemicarbazono)‐2‐indolinones 1, 1‐methyl‐3‐(arylthiosemicarbazono)‐2‐indolinones 2 and 1‐(aminomethyl)‐3‐(arylthiosemicarbazono)‐2‐indolinones 3 have been synthesised. All compounds were screened for their antiviral activity against Sunnhemp rosette virus (SRV) in vitro as well as in vivo. Twelve compounds show significant antiviral activity. Keywords
