Abstract
By means of the peroxidase-antiperoxidase technique, in conjunction with a specific anti-CRF serum, it was shown that a large number of immunoreactive nerve fibers were demonstrable on the capillary loops of the hypophysial portal vessels in the external layer of the median eminence of the rat and monkey, particularly in its medial part. This result confirms the radioimmunological determination of CRF immunoreactivity in the median eminence. Keywords
