Abstract
Data on the distribution of Fuscidea tenebrica, F. cyathoides, Lecidea tumida and Rhizocarpon geographicum are presented. Lecidea was more abundant on rocks close to the ground level. Rhizocarpon and F. cyathoides appeared to avoid steep north facing slopes. Several other species appeared to show no pattern. The study site was in North Wales. [UK].
