Abstract
This note describes a simple phantom which can be used to check the long term stability and accuracy of relative attenuation measurements made by near infra-red (NIR) spectrometers. The phantom has been calibrated, and the results of the calibration are shown to agree with theoretical predictions of the relative attenuation.Keywords
