Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe and discuss the clinical and anatomopathological features of 14 mucoepidermoid tumors of the parotid observed at the Milan Cancer Institute from 1928 to 1970. Although this is still a much debated matter these neoplasms are here regarded as mixed tumors because of the frequency of intermediate forms. Mucoepidermoid tumors are mostly benign. The minority of malignant ones may be classified as undifferentiated squamous cell carcinomas, adenocarcinomas, or nonradically treated tumors. Keywords
