Abstract
During the past year several types of silicon self-scanning arrays have become available. The Charge Injection Device (CID) which is processed in a 100 x 100 format has been examined in detail and is presently being used on a regular basis at Kitt Peak National Observatory for a special class of astronomical problems. The random address and non destructive readout features make the CID a unique member in the family of array devices. Linearity, MTF, and Quantum Efficiency have been measured and detailed results are given. Keywords
