Abstract
A systematic study of the charm contribution to the neutrino-induced opposite-sign dimuon events is presented. Theoretical predictions, taking into account the threshold effects, the experimental cuts and the beam spectrum, are compared with the CERN-Dortmund-Heidelberg-Saclay data. The behavior of the charmed-quark fragmentation function is also investigated. Keywords
