Some Remarks on Hilbert Transforms

Abstract

Some of the properties of Hilbert transforms, when considered in terms of generalized functions, are obtained. A new class is introduced which does not limit the application of Hilbert transforms to generalized functions which vanish at infinity. The use of Hilbert transforms in solving certain integral equations is also discussed.
