Abstract
4‐Methylprotoadamant‐4‐en‐2‐one was isolated from the reaction of 1‐methyladamantan‐2‐one with sodium azide and methanesulfonic acid. A side product of this reaction is probably 4‐methyleneprotoadamantan‐2‐one.Keywords
