Abstract
The application of powder‐metallurgy techniques to the preparation of bulk specimens of lead selenide was studied; both the hot‐press and the press‐and‐sinter methods were employed. Compacting pressure, sintering temperature sintering time, and the particle size of the powder were treated as variables. Electrical and thermoelectric properties, densities, and microstructures of the specimens were studied. Keywords
