Abstract
The dibenzofuran melacarpic acid [1-heptyl-3-hydroxy-7-methoxy-9- methyldibenzofuran-2-carboxylic acid], the diphenyl ether congrayanic acid [2-(3'-carboxy-2'-heptyl-4',6'-dihydroxyphenoxy)-4-methoxy-6- methylbenzoic acid] and the depsidones grayanic acid and fumarprotocetraric acid have been shown to be constituents of the Australian lichen Gymnoderma melacarpum (Wils.) Yoshim. Keywords
