Abstract
Biopsy specimens of the skin from 8 patients with the syndrome of "ovarian agenesis" were studied by the method of Barr and his coworkers. In 6 of these individuals, male-type epidermal nuclei were found; whereas in 2, female-type epidermal nuclei were present. Thus certain patients with this syndrome and with female development of the genital ducts and the external genitalia are genetically males. Keywords
