Erythrocyte Flow in Tubes of Capillary Size

Abstract
Pressure–velocity measurements on red cells and rouleaux in glass tubes of capillary size confirm Prothero and Burton's findings (Biophys. J. 1962. 2, 199–212) of very low resistance to flow and are contrary to conclusions drawn from a recently proposed mathematical model.
