A Simple "Curve-fit" Method of Calculating Area Under the Terminal Downslope of Indicator Dilution Curves

Abstract
A simple visual method by which the decay constant of indicator dilution curves can be determined is described. The area under the terminal downslope is calculated from the appropriate decay constant eliminating the need to replot the downslope on semilogarithmic paper. The method saves time and is accurate.
