Laser palliation of tracheobronchial tumours: a review

Abstract
Photoresection of obstructing or bleeding bronchial tumours using lasers is rapid, lacks toxicity, can be repeated and does not preclude later radiotherapy. This review considers the techniques involved, results of clinical trials and the patients most likely to benefit.Keywords
