Abstract
This week, "hobbit" skeptics laid out their most detailed case yet in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, arguing that living people have some of the traits claimed to be unique to the 1-meter-tall, 18,000-year-old skeleton of Homo floresiensis and that the leading specimen is simply that of a diseased H. sapiens.
