Abstract
The presence of infinite-frequency poles and zeros in a rational transfer function matrix is considered, and certain algebraic characterizations for their occurrence are given. One such characterization is shown to enable the transmission effects due to infinite poles and zeros to be ascertained in an extremely simple and direct way. Keywords
