Abstract
Doubly differential cross sections for electron emission coincident with projectile ionization are measured for fast -He collisions. The results show the importance, and details, of simultaneous target-projectile ionization events. The details allow us to assess the theoretical treatment of these collisions which is found to be inadequate in explaining the simultaneous ionization process.
