Abstract
Severe mechanical haemolysis occurred after transcatheter occlusion of a ductus arteriosus (arterial duct) by a Rashkind double umbrella prosthesis. Surgical removal of the device and ligation of the duct were required before haemolysis was abolished.Keywords
