Abstract
The validity of computer experiments is tested by comparisons between exact one‐dimensional hard‐rod calculations and molecular dynamics experiments with 1000 hard rods. The computer results are shown to agree with exact values of the pressure, pair‐correlation function, velocity autocorrelation function, and the diffusion coefficient.Keywords
