Abstract
The energy width of the central peak of SrTiO3 was investigated using a backscattering spectrometer for neutrons with an energy resolution of 0.85 mu eV (FWHM). In a temperature range between Tc and Tc+12K no line broadening was observed within an experimental upper limit of 0.08 mu eV. Measurements at a q-value of 0.006 AA-1 away from the 1/2(113) point at temperatures up to Tc+2.5K showed also no broadening. Keywords
