Abstract
Four foliage sprays consisting of water emulsions of (1) beeswax, (2) equal parts of beeswax and parowax, (3) rubber soln.. (4) hydrowax liquid N, were applied to seedlings of Pinus resinosa, P. strobus, and Picea glauca. Drought resistance was detd. by testing in a special drought chamber, and by planting on exposed, sandy sites. None of the sprays used improved resistance to drought. Preliminary tests with a 5th spray also gave negative results. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
