Abstract
Late stricture is a well known complication of ileal loops. We herein report on late stricture in 5 patients in whom bowel was used as a substitute ureter in closed, nondiverted urinary tracts. This late complication mandates the need to provide continuing followup indefinitely in patients in whom bowel segments are incorporated in the urinary tracts. Keywords
