The kniest (swiss cheese cartilage) syndrome

Abstract
A boy with the Kniest (Swiss cheese cartilage) syndrome is reported and the salient features of this rare chondrodystrophy are described. The unique polyarthropathy of this syndrome is characterized by symmetrical bony joint enlargements and fixed flexion contractures significantly contributing to the incapacitating nature of the disease.
