Angiocardiographic Diagnosis of Aortic Insufficiency in Cases of Ventricular Septal Defect Associated with Partial Prolapse of the Aortic Valve

Abstract
This study describes 8 patients suffering from aortic insufficiency caused by prolapse of a sinus valsalvae and aortic valve cusp, in association with a ventricular septal defect. Accurate diagnosis is possible only through angiocardiography of both the left ventricle and the ascending aorta.
