Formulas for Spreading Opinions

Abstract
The diffusion of messages by leaflets dropped from artillery shells or airplanes over military or civilian populations is a technique of propaganda that was widely used in Korea and in World War II. Project Revere was established to test experimentally the distribution and effects of airborne messages and their diffusion as they passed by word of mouth from the recipient of the leaflets to other members of the population. This is a summary report of the project.
