Abstract

The synthesis of a giant-size polyazamacrocycle 4,34-dimethyl-1,4,7,10,13,16,19,22,25,28,31,34,37,40,43,46,49,52,55,58-icosaazapentacyclo[56.2.2.2^7,10.2^28,31.2^37,40]octahexacontane (L) is reported together with the crystal structure of its dinuclear cadmium(II) complex [Cd₂(H₂L)][ClO₄]₆5H₂O.
