Abstract
The tissue concentration of zinc was studied in normal and uremic rats. Differences between the groups only reached significance when either parathyroid hormone or 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 were administered. Uremic rats having obtained these compounds showed a significantly higher concentration of zinc in their liver, whereas their serum content of zinc was decreased. Keywords
