Abstract
The Hb, hemoatocrit and osmotic fragility red cell values in a South African white woman with Rhnull cells and the corresponding hematological syndrome varied only minimally during her 3rd pregnancy. This occurred despite the precautionary donation by her of 2 U of her blood at 20 and at 27 wk of pregnancy for storage in liquid N. At birth, the woman''s infant was suffering only mildly from hemolytic disease of the newborn due to the anti-Rh29 antibodies present in her plasma. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
