Abstract
Biliary cysts, an infrequent finding, are thought to be congenital and usually are diagnosed at a young age. The frequency of malignant tumors developing in the cyst or in nearby biliary or pancreatic ducts was calculated to be 5%. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is well suited for the diagnosis of both conditions. A patient is reported in whom the diagnoses of choledochal cyst and pancreatic carcinoma were established simultaneously by ERCP. chronic recurrent pancreatitis in patients with decreased functional pancreatic tissue. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
