Paraganglioma of the Hepatic Duct

Abstract
Biliary cysts, an infrequent finding, are thought to be congenital and usually are diagnosed at a young age. The frequency of malignant tumors developing in the cyst or in nearby biliary or pancreatic ducts was calculated to be 5%. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is well suited for the diagnosis of both conditions. A patient is reported in whom the diagnoses of choledochal cyst and pancreatic carcinoma were established simultaneously by ERCP. chronic recurrent pancreatitis in patients with decreased functional pancreatic tissue.
