Abstract
IN June, 1954, we reported the results of the first survey of the smoking habits of Massachusetts physicians1 who were polled in February of that year; later, a comparative study of smoking habits of such physicians,2 categorized by medical specialties, was similarly published. The present report summarizes the results of a resurvey made by questionnaire on March 9, 1959. It was deemed desirable to obtain an expression of opinion on the subject of education of youth to the potential dangers of smoking.Returns from the members of the Massachusetts Medical Society indicate that many have changed their personal smoking habits . . .Keywords
