Abstract
Paraurethral cysts in female patients have distinctive histologic characteristics based upon their etiopathogenesis, which may be acquired or congenital. Three representative patients are presented with discussion of the pertinent embryology of the lower genitourinary tract in the female subject. Important differential diagnostic considerations in infants and adults, relevant diagnostic studies and plans for the management of these lesions are proposed. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
