Abstract
Summary Unusually large numbers of IgD-containing plasma cells were found in several specimens of the rectal mucosa from a patient suffering from chronic ulcerative colitis. Such cells were very scarce in intestinal and other lymphoid tissues from normal individuals, except in adenoids.Keywords
