Abstract
The preparation and analgesic activity [in mice and rats] of a series of the title compounds are described. The intermediate 2-phenyl-2-(1-piperazinyl)acetophenones, were prepared from benzyl phenyl ketones via their bromides. The more active members in this series of compounds were derivatives of dl-erythro-1-phenyl-2-(subsittuted phenyl)-2-[4-(p-methoxybenzyl)-1-piperazinyl]ethanol. Structure-activity relationships are discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
